Duro-Last Warranty
The Duro-Last warranty is easily the most comprehensive warranty available in the flat roofing industry and there are several reasons to support this claim. Any one of them would be great. Put them all together and you have one heckuva warranty! Here are the details:
1. The Duro-Last 15-year materials and labor warranty comes standard
without charge with every commercial roof installation.
2. You never pay a dime for material or labor for any warranty related
repairs or replacements.
3. The material and labor warranty comes directly from Duro-Last - the
company that has manufactured over a billion square feet of
membrane since 1978.
4. No exclusions for ponding water. While other roof warranties will void
in areas with evidence of standing water, the Duro-Last warranty
remains valid regardless of any ponding water.
5. No exclusions for consequential damages. While other warranties
may pay for the repair and/or replacement of the roof system if it fails,
they typically stop right there leaving any damages below the roof up to
you to pay for. The Duro-Last warranty, however, covers any damage to
the contents of your facility - again, at no extra cost to you!
6. No maintenance program is required to keep your warranty valid.
This means you will not have to have a contractor come back out
periodically to treat seams and penetrations, or have the manufacturer
re-inspect your roof every so often to keep your warranty in effect.
If you are considering another roof system, make sure they will at least match these incredible criteria. If they agree to, get it writing. But good luck - to date, we have not found anyone that will come close to even matching the coverage of the Duro-Last warranty!
